When I was little and sick, my mother always warmed up a can of Campell’s chicken noodle soup and paired it with some Ritz crackers on the side. She topped it off with a cold glass of Ginger Ale. This was a ritual of love and care.

    One of the popular myths around garlic is that it can protect one and will ward off evil and can be used for purification and cleansing of negative energies. This absolutely would make any mother concerned for the ones that she loves reach for this ingredient when making up soup for someone that is ill.

  • Rosemary symbolizes protection, remembrance, love, and healing. Thyme can symbolize purification, cleansing, courage, and strength.

  • In the Chinese culture, noodles represent longevity and good health.
